When the Holding Gets Heavy: Cultivating Sustainable Compassion for Clinicians

This mindfulness group is designed for clinicians who are holding a great deal—client pain, systemic strain, and the quiet accumulation of their own emotional residue.

Together, we'll explore practices that support lovingkindness, compassion, appreciative joy, and equanimity, and explore how clinicians can care deeply without burning out. We practice embodying the qualities of a liberated heartmind through gentle movement, guided meditation, and optional reflection. Participants are invited to release accumulated strain and reconnect with a grounded way of being with suffering—both their clients’ and their own.

Each 90-minute session will include a brief teaching, guided mindfulness practice, optional space for reflection, and time for questions. Optional readings and shared resources will be offered for those who would like to explore these themes more deeply between sessions.

Coming Home to Ourselves An Experiential Retreat for Grounding, Connection & Self-Nourishment

A Return to the Parts of Ourselves That Need Care Too

Many of us spend our lives in motion.

Holding space.
Taking care of others.
Performing.
Producing.
Staying responsive.
Staying needed.

Over time, we can become so practiced at tending to the external world that we slowly lose connection with the quieter parts of ourselves asking for rest, grounding, softness, nourishment, and presence.

Coming Home to Ourselves is an experiential retreat designed to support a deeper return to the body, nervous system, and inner world through movement, mindfulness, connection, and immersive embodied practices.
