Individual Psychotherapy
Individual psychotherapy offers a steady, collaborative space to explore trauma, how you relate to your emotions and thoughts, relational patterns, and questions of identity or meaning.
This work is grounded in evidence-based treatment and shaped by careful attention to how your experiences show up not only in thought, but in the body and in relationship. Together we will work to understand your patterns, hold them with compassionate awareness, and transform them in service of your values and therapeutic goals, and ultimately leading to greater clarity, freedom, and self-trust over time.
What to Expect
We begin with a thorough assessment of what you are struggling with. This helps us understand your present-moment difficulties and how we can address them skillfully and with care. Whatever treatment approaches or interventions we use, I will orient you to them so that you feel informed and empowered to make choices. Your treatment pathway will be thoughtfully curated to your aspirations, strengths, and challenges. We draw from evidence-based modalities and integrate contemplative strategies in ways that are clinically grounded and responsive to your needs.
This is active, engaged work. Sessions are paced with respect for your body and mind, though they are not passive. We look honestly at patterns and discern together what is working and what is not. We build tools that support emotional steadiness and relational clarity. We experiment with new ways of responding — both to your own internal experience and in relationship with others. You will be encouraged to practice between sessions so that insight becomes lived change.
There is room here for intensity, humor, resistance, grief, and growth. You can expect to be met with care, compassion, and radical genuineness.
You do not need prior therapy experience. You do not need to be spiritual. You do not need to arrive composed or certain.
Arrive as you are. We will begin there.
